Black Activists Sought in 2 Slayings Arrested

The FBI today announced the arrest of two of its most wanted men, black-power advocates sought for the slaying of two Nashville policemen during the racial tensions of the late 1960s.

William G. Allen, who escaped from prison in 1974, was seized by state troopers Tuesday. Charles Lee Herron, hunted since the January, 1968, murders, was picked up today at a Jacksonville residence.
