Where’s the Cat?

I read with great interest the article entitled “Uneven Exchange in House Swap” by Judith Specht (June 8). Thoroughly enjoyed it. Much humor in spite of the fact that the author “ was had.” One question, though--what happened to the cat left in Malibu? Did it go the way of the “little English garden?”
