U.S., Italy to Sign Pact on Global Terrorism

ROME — U.S. Atty. Gen. Edwin Meese III met Italian Interior Minister Oscar Luigi Scalfaro on Monday to conclude an agreement against international terrorism that the two countries are set to sign today, officials said.
Italian government officials said the talks also dealt with efforts to combat organized crime.
