First Interstate may bid on an Oklahoma bank.

The Los Angeles-based holding company of First Interstate Bank of California may be willing to acquire troubled First Oklahoma Bancorp., according to sources quoted in American Banker, a trade paper. First Interstate, which has said it is studying potential acquisitions, refused to confirm or deny the report.
