Culver City : Council Reduces Utility Tax

The City Council on Monday voted to reduce the utility-user taxes from 11% to 9.5%, a move city officials said would cut city revenues by $1 million over the next fiscal year.

The proposal, offered by Mayor Paul A. Netzel last March, would reduce the taxes added to water and power bills within the city. It faces final council action June 30.
