A. H. Robins & Co. got more time to reorganize.

Lawyers for the Richmond, Va.-based pharmaceutical firm were given another 90 days to finish the company’s Chapter 11 reorganization plan. However, U.S. District Judge Robert R. Merhige Jr. scolded the lawyers for having taken too long already. Merhige also said he would take a more active role in reviewing the progress of the case and would reduce the 90-day extension if enough progress is not made.
