Anaheim : Woman, 73, Kills Son, Then Self, Police Say

A 73-year-old Anaheim woman, apparently despondent over her health and the health of her 54-year-old son, shot him to death then killed herself Monday morning, Anaheim police said.
Officers said they had not yet determined whether the son was a willing or unwilling victim. Investigators said they were listing the slayings as a murder and suicide.
The two bodies were found by movers in the rear of the victims’ rented house, police said. The mother and son were moving to a new home in the Los Angeles area.
Investigators withheld the names of the victims until relatives could be notified.
