So the Supreme Court has now sanctioned the imposition of the majority’s morality on the rest of us. How ironic that in the same week that we are rededicating the Statue of Liberty, we drift even further from the original ideals that established that monument! Give us your tired and your poor, as long as they’re heterosexual. The chorus that the New Right is singing is getting louder and more ominous.
