Iraqi warplanes raided two hydroelectric power stations in Iran, and one plane was lost, according to reports from both sides. Iran’s official news agency said an Iraqi Mirage F-1 fighter-bomber was downed by anti-aircraft fire near Dezful in Khuzistan province. Iraq reported that the plane, after bombing two power stations, crashed due to a technical failure. Meanwhile, Lloyds Shipping Insurance Brokers raised premiums for war-risk insurance from 0.25% to 0.5% of the value of the ship. It will now cost $50,000 to cover a $10-million ship for a seven-day trip in the war zone.
