Running back Ron Springs of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was found guilty on a reduced charge of misdemeanor assault and fined $200 after a jury trial in Dallas.

Springs, 29, admitted in his testimony that he reached into the pocket of workman Julian Mesa Jr. to grab a set of car keys during an argument over construction of a brick wall that Mesa was building at Springs’ home in Dallas last year.
