R.H. Estates : City Celebration Sept. 20

The city’s annual City Celebration, featuring various activities, entertainment and a barbecue, will be held Sept. 20 at the Empty Saddle Club beginning at 11 a.m.

The festivities, which celebrate the city’s incorporation in 1957, will include a 5-kilometer run at 7:30 a.m. and a 10-kilometer run at 8:30 at Ernie Howlett Park on Hawthorne Boulevard. The day will conclude with a western barbecue starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are $6 for steak, salad, beans and beverage or $3 for a hamburger and can be purchased at the park.
