Maywood : Dance Permit Denial Backed

The City Council Tuesday supported the denial of a conditional use permit to allow bikini-clad dancers, public dancing and jukebox music at El Gato Bar, 5510 Atlantic Blvd.
The Planning Commission denied the permit in June after several residents signed a petition opposing the proposed activities.
