Fire Kills Family of Four

TONKAWA, Okla. — A woman and her three young children died when fire destroyed their rural home. Passers-by tried to rescue the family but arrived too late to save them, authorities said Saturday. Tonkawa Fire Chief Charles Conaghan said the fire Friday apparently started in a malfunctioning window fan.
