Fullerton : Woman Killed Trying to Cross Chapman Ave.

A 56-year-old Fullerton woman was struck by a car and killed as she tried to cross Chapman Avenue, police said Thursday.
Frances S. Buckett died about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday at the scene of the accident, in the 2300 block of Chapman, a police spokesman said.
There is no marked crosswalk where Buckett tried to cross, police said. The driver was not cited.
