Walnut : Park Contracts Awarded

The Walnut City Council has awarded two contracts to improve Creekside and Snow Creek parks.
Challenge Engineering Inc. of Cypress was awarded a $689,503 contract to develop two baseball fields, a children’s playground, a snack bar, restrooms and picnic grounds at Creekside Park. The 12-acre park is expected to be completed by March, 1987.
A $3,300 contract also was awarded to Marchetti and Associates of Orange to design a baseball lighting system for Snow Creek Park. The design is expected to be finished in 30 days.
