FAR EAST

I went to see the new Blake Edwards flick “That’s Life,” with Jack Lemmon and Julie Andrews. It was pretty good. I could identify with the principal characters.

However, Andrews goes for an early morning walk on the beach in Malibu and, lo and behold, there’s the sun about two inches above the horizon.

As far as I know, the sun comes up in the east and goes down in the west, so how come the sun is coming up in the west in the early morning?

Thanks for letting me get this off my chest.
