Robert M. Loeffler, who is retiring as senior partner in the Los Angeles law office of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, on Thursday was elected chairman, president and chief executive of San Diego-based Northview Corp., effective Jan. 1. Loeffler will replace Northview board member Dante Fabiani, who was elected interim chairman after Ivan F. Boesky resigned in the wake of a growing Securities and Exchange Commission probe into his insider trading activities.
