A total of 343 criminal aliens in four Western states were deported during October, the first month of a crackdown, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service said. INS Western Regional Commissioner Harold Ezell said all had completed their jail terms. Los Angeles had 106 deported, San Francisco had 112 and San Diego had 54.
