Furor Over Friedman

“The Captain of Capitalism” (by Jonathan Peterson, Dec. 14) really understates the problem with economist Milton Friedman’s recommendations. It is not just “some inaccurate Friedman predictions in recent years.” It is a failure of predictions over at least a 20-year period, combined with logical inconsistencies in his approach.
