Tacoma, Wash.-based Weyerhaeuser Co. reported increased profit and sales for both the year and fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1986. A spokesman attributed the results to a slimmer organization, improved marketing skills and reduced unit costs. Also, the spokesman said that pulp and paper product markets in 1987 should be considerably stronger than those of 1986.
