LOS ANGELES COUNTY - News from Jan. 29, 1987

New World Pictures announced the resignation of Roger Burlage, its president and chief operating officer, effective Feb. 14, “to pursue other, unspecified interests.” No successor was named.

Burlage has served as chief operating officer for the past four years, and gained the president’s title in 1984. The Los Angeles-based company called the parting “amicable.”
