ON THE SLY

I was amazed at the ad touting Sylvester Stallone’s affiliation with the pro-literacy movement (Calendar, Jan. 25, Page 28). I don’t think that one appearance at Grauman’s Chinese can counteract an entire career as poster boy for stupidity, but it’s nice to see him finally come around.
