NBC affiliate WNYT-TV in Albany, N.Y., canceled its broadcast of the situation comedy “Valerie” Sunday night because the episode dealt with a teen-ager using condoms. Out of 210 NBC affiliates, only WNYT-TV and KNOP-TV in North Platte, Neb., refused to air the show. Affiliates in Hartford, Conn., Dallas, Charleston, S.C, and Greenville, S.C., delayed airing the program until after prime time.
