“Saturday Night Live” will return for a 13th season next year, NBC announced Tuesday. The show “has fulfilled all of our expectations, thanks to the inspired leadership of producer Lorne Michaels,” NBC Entertainment President Brandon Tartikoff said in a statement. “The cast and the writing have been terrific on a weekly basis. All over America viewers are saying ‘It’s fun to watch the show again!’ ” Michaels said, “I agree with everything Brandon Tartikoff says.”
