TAKING ‘MANHATTAN’

I don’t know, I must be a masochist, but I couldn’t seem to get enough of CBS’ recent eight-hour miniseries, “I’ll Take Manhattan.”

Is Judith Krantz working on a sequel--”I’ll Take the Bronx”? Or Queens. Or Hoboken?

I’ll take any thing this lady writes, provided it has the same crew of 20-year-olds whose heads can be dyed to show they’ve aged (though their faces and voices haven’t), ingenious plot devices (he falls from a cliff and lands in a coma ?) and dialogue that made Johnny Weissmuller’s to the elephants sound like Racine.
