Police Should Get Lesson on Rights

Now it is Whittier’s turn. (“Police Admit Lying to Get Homeless to Pose for Photo,” Feb. 22). I would suggest that in this Bicentennial year Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner, if he is not too busy campaigning for name recognition, conduct seminars for law enforcement on constitutional rights and the Bill of Rights.

Whittier Police Chief James Bale says he did not order the operation! Hm! His role model must be President Reagan.
