The Reagan Administration plans to sell helicopters and electronic equipment for jet fighters worth more than $400 million to Saudi Arabia, Pentagon officials announced. Officials said that the Administration will formally notify Congress later this month of the offer to sell a dozen large troop transport helicopters, other smaller helicopters and electronic equipment for Saudi Arabian F-15 fighter jets. The sale would become official 30 days after the formal notification unless Congress vetoed it.
