Mixed-Use Plans for Ventura Site Under Review

VENTURA — A citizens advisory review committee is studying plans by Lusk Co. of Irvine, in partnership with the landowners, Alpha Ranch Co., to build housing and businesses near the site of the proposed expansion of Ventura University Center.
The company has requested designation of 320 acres of agricultural land between Harbor Boulevard and Ventura Freeway as a comprehensive planned (mixed-use) development.
