Astronaut Who Probed Challenger Deaths Quits

Astronaut Joseph P. Kerwin, 55, the doctor in charge of determining how the Challenger crew members died, has resigned after two decades of service that included a Skylab mission, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced Friday.
