Benji is back and Disney’s got him. Walt Disney Productions will release “Benji the Hunted,” this summer, the studio announced Thursday. Disney also signed director Joe Camp to write and direct motion pictures and television productions for the Burbank studio. “Benji the Hunted” comes seven years after “Oh, Heavenly Dog!,” the second sequel to “Benji,” which grossed more than $45 million when it was released in 1974.
