National Education Shows Record Net

National Education Corp., the Irvine-based vocational training company, reported record net income of $2.8 million for the first quarter, a 19% jump from $2.3 million in the comparable period last year. Revenues of $68.7 million for the period also set a record, up 54% from $44.6 million.
