Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, posted record profit and revenue both for the fourth quarter ended April 3 and the fiscal year. Earnings were $32.2 million for the year and $10.8 million for the quarter, gains of 22% and 34.7%, respectively. The results, Chairman William R. Hoover said, “significantly exceeded our initial expectations.” He added: “By achieving an all-time high in dollar value of federal programs won, we strongly expanded the base of our contract-services business. These dollars represent more than 60% of the programs we bid on.”
