Milan riot police fired tear gas during clashes with rock-throwing pop fans locked out of a concert by American singer Neil Young on Tuesday night. Police said six people were arrested after the incidents in which about 20 people were injured. A dozen, including five police, were treated at a hospital but doctors said none was seriously injured. The clashes occurred when the gates of a Milan concert hall were closed after 8,000 people flooded in for the free concert, financed by the city council.
