San/Bar Corp., an Irvine telecommunications firm, reported a net income of $32,000 for its fiscal 1987 third quarter, ended March 31, contrasted with a net loss of $1.3 million for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter rose 22% to $3.9 million, from $3.2 million a year earlier.

For the first nine months, San/Bar reported a net income of $411,000, contrasted with a year-earlier net loss of $997,000. Sales for the first nine months rose 42% to $13.5 million, from $9.5 million a year earlier.

San/Bar officials announced in April that the company would be acquired by Resdel Industries after spinning off its Break-Free division. Break-Free, which is headquartered in Santa Ana, manufactures specialized lubricants and cleaners.
