Hart’s Withdrawal From the Presidential Campaign

So, once again we’ve become the laughingstock of the globe. The sleaze journalists from Miami have taken it upon themselves to destroy a man’s political career, not by questioning his performance in office, but by implying that he slept with a woman who was not his wife.

Maybe I’m out of step, but when I vote I choose a candidate that I feel can do the best job for the society as a whole, not one who has the least amount of petty gossip aimed at him. Whether or not he sleeps with another woman, kisses ducks, or worships trees in the nude is unimportant to me. Hey! Remember us, the voters? How about letting us decide once in a while?
