LOS ANGELES COUNTY - News from May 19, 1987

Cy Leslie, chairman, president and chief executive of Beverly Hills-based MGM/UA Home Entertainment Group, will relinquish his duties June 1. Leslie had previously announced his intention to step down from his current post rather than relocate to the West Coast when the unit of MGM/UA Communications Co. moves its corporate headquarters to Los Angeles from New York this summer.

Leslie will continue as a non-exclusive consultant until April 30, 1988, and will return to his position as chairman of Leslie Group, an investment company.
