Next week’s release of X’s new album, titled “See How We Are,” isn’t the only reason members of the L.A. rock scene’s premier band are celebrating: There’s also singer Exene Cervenka’s wedding this weekend in Nebraska, where the groom, actor Viggo Mortensen, is shooting a film. John Doe, Cervenka’s partner in X-- and her ex-husband--has canceled his solo show at McCabe’s on Saturday so he can attend the ceremony.
