IN CORRECTION

In Clarke Taylor’s article on “Bright Lights, Big City,” now in production in New York City, a critical comment on the status of the budget of that film was incorrectly attributed to “officials of the Mayor’s Film Office” (“ ‘Bright Lights’ Resumes Filming With a New Team,” May 20).

Since my staff is not privy to the running costs of any production, we don’t second-guess production companies or accept a false attribution for those who choose to do so.
