U.N. to Mark World’s 5 Billionth Inhabitant

ZAGREB, Yugoslavia — U.N. Secretary General Javier Perez de Cuellar will be here to mark the birth of the world’s 5 billionth inhabitant on July 11, officials said Wednesday.
The celebration was originally to take place in New York but was moved to Zagreb, in northwest Yugoslavia, where 5,000 athletes from 120 countries will be competing in the 14th World Student Games.
