Japanese pop singer Hiromi Go’s marriage to 21-year-old actress Yurie Nitani in Sydney, Australia, on Tuesday was upstaged by the $1.8-million diamond-studded gown worn by the bride. The dress, delivered by armed guards, dazzled the 300 invited guests at the Sydney Hotel and even drew attention away from screaming fans who awaited the couple’s arrival, Reuters reported. The couple--previously married in a traditional ceremony--did it again at the request of the Australian Tourism Department, which is promoting the country as a haven for Asian honeymooners.
