Henry A. Rissier has been named to the new position of director of new business development at Ropak Corp. in Fullerton.

Rissier was with Continental Can Co. in Chicago for the past 18 years, serving in various management positions. Most recently, he was regional manager of sales for the company’s general packaging division.

He will work out of Ropak’s central states facility in Elk Grove Village, Ill., until sometime next year, when he will transfer to Fullerton.

Ropak makes plastic containers for a variety of agricultural and industrial uses.
