BIA Seminar Will Focus on Liability for Toxic Waste

A seminar on toxic waste liability, sponsored by the Greater Los Angeles area chapter of the Building Industry Assn. will be held Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Wilshire Hotel, 3515 Wilshire Blvd.
Speakers include Steve Gold, chief executive officer, Center Financial Group; Christopher Bisgaard, partner of the law firm of Lewis, D’Amato, Brisbois, & Bisgaard, and Tom Sweet, vice president and general manager, Hydrotech Consultants.
Questions to be discussed include: “Do the laws effect the future of your escrows?,” “Are there disadvantages to cleaning up a site?” and “Are there options when reclaiming a contaminated site?”
