Obscenity charges were filed by the Los Angeles city attorney’s office against an Anaheim-based distributor of video films depicting the torture of women. Jerry Lee Deming, 46, and his mail-order firm, Spartacus Corp., face a six-count complaint in connection with the videos “Dianna’s Destiny” and “Abducted and Trained,” which City Atty. James K. Hahn termed “violent sadomasochistic films depicting the sexual torture and degradation of women.”
