British actor Edward Woodward will resume his television role as “The Equalizer” despite a recent heart attack. The 57-year-old actor, who was stricken July 29, told reporters in London that doctors had ordered him to rest for the next six weeks and give up cigarettes. Woodward, who plays a tough-guy New York City vigilante with a soft spot for the underdog, said he would begin shooting the new 20-episode season of “The Equalizer” in October.
