Los Angeles’ KTWV-FM, a. k. a. “The Wave”--the yuppified melange of jazz, soft rock and New Age music that dethroned the erstwhile “Mighty Met,” KMET in March--will soon go national, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Station owner Metropolitan Broadcasting and its partner the Satellite Music Network decided to break the Wave over national airwaves following dramatic boosts in the station’s Arbitron radio ratings.
