U.S. financier Ivan Boesky has offered to testify on alleged irregularities in the successful $4.3-billion bid by Anglo-Irish brewing giant Guinness for Scotch whisky company Distillers, the Observer newspaper in London said. Boesky is awaiting sentencing for illegal insider trading.
