Board Vacancies to Be Filled: The City Council has invited applications from community residents for vacancies on an advisory board and four committees. The vacancies are on the city’s housing committee, cable TV committee, parking, traffic and circulation committee, recreation committee and personnel board. Applications must be filed by Sept. 10 with the city clerk. All applicants will be interviewed by City Council members at 6 p.m. Sept. 15.
