Act III Broadcasting, a subsidiary of Norman Lear’s Act III Communications, has agreed in principal to buy two television stations, WRGT-TV in Dayton, Ohio, and WVAH-TV in Charleston-Huntington, W. Va., from Meridian Communications. The price was not disclosed. Act III Broadcasting of Atlanta, whose parent is headquartered in Los Angeles, also owns a station in Greensboro, N. C., and is awaiting federal approval on its purchase of another in Charleston, S. C.
