When the Rev. Jerry Falwell calls Jim Bakker’s leadership “the greatest scab and cancer on the face of Christianity in 2,000 years” (Part I, Oct. 9), he exposes his own crass ignorance.
Has Falwell never even heard of Christian conduct during the Crusades and during the Inquisition? Bakker’s alleged misconduct pales by comparison. C’mon, Jerry, get off it!
