The amended schedule of events for this weekend’s 23rd annual National Hot Rod Assn. Winston Finals calls for time trials and one funny car qualifying session today at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds in Pomona, followed by two additional qualifying sessions for all professional competitors and the Cragar-Weld top fuel event Saturday. Final eliminations are scheduled for Sunday.
Wet weather last weekend forced officials to postpone the $871,850 event until this weekend.
